Spiritual Struggles Are Real
Find Clarity and Connection through Judgement-Free Mentorship
My one on one mentorships are designed to let your spiritual journey unfold in a way that feels meaningful and true.
If you’re someone who:
- grew up in a strident religious environment that was hostile to your questions, your political views, or even your sense of identity,
- was raised in a home where religion was discouraged and no one was interested in your questions about life, death, or God,
- is committed to pursuing personal growth or developing leadership skills that are grounded in real spiritual principles,
- wants to deepen your experience of yoga as a spiritual practice and is eager to learn more about its wisdom tradition,
then I encourage you to consider how my 1:1 mentorship can help you reach your personal goals.
Your Questions Matter Here
Many people experience obstacles along the path to spiritual well-being. I get it—these are real struggles, and they deserve to be heard.
1:1 mentoring can help you heal old wounds, explore new territory, discover new ways of being, and connect spiritual ideas to real life.
My mentorship sessions offer a safe space for these sacred explorations. This isn't therapy or counseling; it's a unique relationship where we draw from the rich and rewarding bhakti-yoga tradition to explore the space where philosophy, spirituality, and personal development converge.
Together, we’ll create a space where critical thinking is encouraged and your soul can truly breathe.
Since Hari and I met, my life has transformed significantly.
He is able to convey difficult concepts with ease, helping me understand how to apply my spirituality into everyday matters. His instruction and explanations are clear and knowledgeable, loving and patient. I can definitely say that my life has become more meaningful thanks to Hari. He is ALWAYS willing to give a little (or a lot!) of his time to answer my questions, and thanks to his guidance I am able to stay on the path knowing that I am supported.”
Jessica K., Cherry Hill, NJ
Our conversations have given me space to express thoughts and ask questions without fear of offending, while receiving frank, undiluted feedback and instruction.
Hari’s patient and gracious company in our sessions, along with his directness and clarity, have made many things feel newly accessible to me and has made my personal practice feel bona fide, rich, and sustainable.
Thomas B., Cleveland, OH
Hari-kirtana das is a delightful mentor who teaches with heart, knowledge, clarity and precise metaphors that bring a concept home.
I've enjoyed virtual mentoring with such a knowledgeable teacher who responds with detail to my emails and inquiries, making sure he understands what my goals and true questions are. I have gained wisdom as a yoga teacher and forever-student of this wisdom path and have gone deeper into my path of yoga, directly influenced by Hari and his wisdom. He is a wise choice for mentorship.
Beth M., Silver Spring, MD
Hari’s one-on-one mentorship offered personalized guidance in applying yoga philosophy to my everyday life.
Hari is particularly skillful in translating historic yoga wisdom texts to modern day and offering insights in how to make decisions aligned with the objectives of yoga. He also offered guidance in advancing my skill set as a yoga teacher and provided opportunities to ask questions I might have been too afraid to ask anyone else. Hari’s sincerity and genuine interest made for a safe space to have honest and open discussions. Hari’s mentorship provided inspiration and tangible steps to advance on the path of yoga.
Amanda R., Washington, DC
Working with Hari one-on-one has helped me deepen my knowledge of both yoga asana and yoga philosophy and has made me a much better teacher and business owner.
Moreover, he’s taught me how to make yoga a more complete spiritual practice in my life, and you can't put a price tag on that.
Adam E., Minneapolis, MN
Hari is a constant teacher, mentor, and friend.
He presents sophisticated ideas in relatable terms, always encouraging me to understand yoga philosophy through my personal experiences and vocations. His warmth and humor create the ease necessary to ask difficult questions without letting the gravity of the subject matter make you feel intimidated. Working with Hari has strengthened me as a yogi, spiritual activist, and human being
Christopher R., Washington, DC
How it works
We’ll embark on a journey of discovery, beginning with a reflection on the path you’ve travelled to now, the knowledge you’ve received, the questions still unanswered, and the struggles that you’re facing.
Together, we’ll explore your core beliefs and life experiences, allowing for new revelations and insights to emerge through a contemplative approach to sources of spiritual wisdom and an active engagement with principles of spiritual realization.
As we progress, our focus will shift toward building confidence in your spiritual knowledge and steadiness in a spiritual practice that feels right for you.
This process is not about finding ready-made answers; it’s about removing obstacles to self-knowledge.
What’s Included
Preparation Work
I’ll send you a questionnaire that will provide you with a structured approach to reflecting on your past experiences and assessing your current physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state of being.
This form will also make it easy for you to clearly articulate your mentorship objectives and help me prepare to guide our sessions accordingly. After I get your questionnaire, we’ll have a 30-minute call to discuss how we can chart a course toward your goals. Once we get started, we can continue as planned or make adjustments as needed in order to stay on course.
1:1 Sessions
We’ll meet for 60-minutes once every two weeks via Zoom. Each conversation will be a collaborative effort toward a deeper understanding of ourselves, the world, and the source of both, as well as progressive movement toward a clear vision of how spiritual knowledge can inform our thoughts, perceptions, choices, and actions.
Personal Practice
Developing a regular spiritual practice is an essential element for turning spiritual ideas into lived experiences. Once we’ve made a little progress together, I’ll make recommendations for a practice that will support you and your specific needs for your spiritual journey. The practice I prescribe may include movement, breathwork, mantra meditation, prayer, affirmations, and / or contemplative journaling work.
Connection and Support
You’ll always be welcome to connect with me via email in between our scheduled sessions as inspiration or need dictates. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate - as little or as much as you like - in a community of like-minded people who share your interest in spiritual knowledge and personal growth.
FAQ
One-on-one spiritual mentorship is powerful because it offers a personalized, confidential space where you can explore your deepest spiritual questions and challenges. The guidance I provide is tailored to your unique journey, helping them gain clarity, foster growth, and connect with a deeper sense of purpose—all while offering support that feels both personal and meaningful.
This is about integrating your spiritual life directly into the rest of your life, not a prescription for a spiritual practice that’s separate from everything else in your life.
Whether you're searching for deeper forms of prayer, exploring meditation, or simply seeking clarity on your spiritual path, I’ll help you get closer to what truly feeds your spirit.
The duration of each mentorship is determined on a case by case basis. During our initial conversation, we will decide upon the number of sessions we should commit to. As that time comes to a close, we can see where we’re at and how we would like to move forward from there.
I use an equitable pricing model to make spiritual mentorship accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. While the majority of people I mentor offer from $108 - $200 per session, I recognize that this might not be feasible for everyone. My approach allows for flexibility in pricing, with the goal of reducing financial barriers to support.
Absolutely not. Mentorships are custom-tailored to your needs. Whether you’re just starting on your spiritual quest or want to deepen a long-standing practice, I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you from there.
