How to Develop Great Workshops
Live Online - 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm ET | $27
The key to designing great workshops is to take a systematic approach to solving problems that really matter to your students.
A great yoga workshop can be a life-changing experience. The challenge for the teacher is to consistently craft workshops that make a real difference in people’s lives. One obstacle to meeting that challenge is our tendency to focus on developing content rather than on focusing on the results that our content should deliver for our students.
What if you had a system that helped you to identify the most valuable things you have to offer and matched them with the most important goals your students want to achieve?
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- Why a systematic approach to workshop development is so valuable
- How to know what kind of workshops you should offer (they may not be the ones you think)
- How to structure your workshop development process
- Why your workshop should tell a story – and how to make sure your students are the heroes of the story
- Three kinds of benefits you should hardwire into every workshop
- How a workshop development strategy makes marketing your workshop easier
Empower yourself with the practical tools to ensure that each workshop surpasses expectations, leaving your students enriched beyond measure. Don't miss this opportunity to revolutionize your workshop offerings and make an indelible impact on those you serve.

Bhakti Shakti & The Dance of Divine Love
Live Online - Four Classes: June 2, 9, 23, and 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm ET | $27
Dive into the enchanting realm of bhakti-yoga with this workshop designed for spiritual explorers eager to unravel the mysteries of divine power and devotion. Over four immersive sessions, we'll embark on a journey guided by the essence of two powerful Goddesses, each representing their unique shakti and the interplay between illusion and enlightenment.
In the initial sessions, we'll delve into the sacred narratives of these Goddesses, each the embodiment of their own shakti, and see how they create worlds that either conceal or illuminate our true identities. We’ll also discuss the preeminence of the Goddess in the devotional yoga tradition and place the idea of developing a relationship with the “feminine divine” in the context of a modern contemplative practice. In the later sessions, we’ll transition to the captivating tale of the Rasa Lila – Krishna's moonlit dance with the milkmaids of Vrindavan. Drawing on the insights gleaned from our earlier explorations of the nuances of divine energy, we'll dive into the esoteric aspects of this intricate story of the soul's intimate relationship with the soul of all souls.
Each 90-minute session will illuminate the transformative power of spiritual devotion. Here’s what we’ll cover:
• The two primary Goddesses as Divine Energies
• How the Goddesses reign over their respective realms
• Spirituality, Feminist Spirituality, and Gender Identity
• Divine Energy and the Divine Energetic
• An Introduction to the Rasa Lila of Krishna and the Gopis
• Five types of relationships between the soul and God
• The Bewildering power of Yogamaya
• Breaking Barriers in Devotional Yoga
• The Re-enchantment of the World
Throughout our journey, we'll draw upon two illuminating texts: "Bhakti Shakti" by Pranada Comtois and "The Dance of Divine Love" by Graham M. Schweig. By the course's end, participants will emerge with a deepened understanding of the Feminine Divine's pivotal role in the Krishna Bhakti tradition.
This course will be recorded - if you can’t be there live, you can watch the replay. Members of Yoga Alliance can receive 6 hours of CE credit.
