When we look at the modern world through the lens of yoga philosophy, something amazing happens: the bend of the lens reveals secrets that were hiding in plain sight, clarifies the blur of a seemingly irrational world, and suggests ways to think about our lives that never would have occurred to us otherwise.
Through lecture, discussion, experiential exercises and breakout group brainstorming, we’ll look at our selves and the world through the lens of yoga philosophy and consider the ways in which yoga philosophy provides both a framework for personal spiritual development and fresh perspectives on contemporary social issues such as sexism, racism, nationalism, cultural appropriation, and climate change.
