The Bhagavad-gita for Astrologers

$15AN ONLINE SHORT-COURSE – Explore the Sacred Text of the Bhagavad-gita and Learn How it Applies to the Study and Practice of Astrology!
During each of the following four classes we will explore each section of the Gita and conclude with a summary of study of how this ancient scripture relates to the practice and study of astrology today!
Part 1 – Introduction to the Bhagavad-gita: The back-story of the Gita, the overarching theme of the Gita, and the three hierarchical levels of reality in the Gita
Part 2 – Transcendental Knowledge: The five topics of the Bhagavad-gita: individual consciousness, infinite consciousness, the material world, the natural law of action and reaction, and time.
Part 3 – The Intersection of Yoga and Religion: The methods and objectives of the four systems of yoga described in the Bhagavad-gita, universal principles of religion, and yoga as the technology of religious experience.
Part 4 – The Perfection of Yoga: The story structure of Arjuna’s transformation, the four key verses of the Bhagavad-gita, and the Gita’s ultimate philosophical conclusion.
