Through lecture, discussion, experiential exercises and breakout group brainstorming, we’ll look at our selves and the world through the lens of yoga philosophy and consider the ways in which yoga philosophy provides both a framework for personal spiritual development and fresh perspectives on contemporary social issues such as sexism, racism, nationalism, cultural appropriation, and climate change.

This weekend immersion will feature a complete mix of asana classes, mantra meditation, kirtan, and three sessions of advanced yoga philosophy that will include practical Sanskrit, Yoga-sutras, Bhagavad-gita, and spiritual activism.
