Meditation Workshop @ Bluebird Sky Yoga

$30Meditation is a means to access a natural experience of serenity and create psychic space for a deeper understanding of who and what we are. The Yoga Sutras propose a systematic progression of contemplation, concentration, and meditation that resolves in ‘the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind’ and, ultimately, spontaneous absorption in an object of meditation that awakens the experience of self-realization.
These sessions will include explorations of some of yoga’s various systems of meditation: we’ll work with a range of techniques that will enable you to move easily into brief, centering meditations that fit into a busy schedule as well as methods that will support entry into deep meditative states for extended periods of time.
This workshop, which will include both individual meditation exercises and guided group meditations, is equally suitable for both people who are new to meditation as well as seasoned practitioners.
